Rupee hits record low of 80 to a dollar

In a speech delivered today, Fed Chair Powell expressed his unconditional commitment to tackling inflation and risks posed by elevated periods of high price growth.

The Indian rupee hit an all-time low against the US dollar on Monday, as global stocks were weakened 

by Federal Reserve Chairwoman hikes expectations for rate increases this year.
