Vodafone Idea has Prepaid Rs 2700 Crore to SBI

Vodafone Idea, India's third largest telecom operator with over 360 million subscribers has reportedly prepaid Rs 2700 crore to State Bank Of Indiia (SBI)

The move is said to get confidence back from lenders as they need urgent funding for 5G equipment deals.

According an ET Telecom report ,Videocon subsidiary Vi will soon be seeking fresh funds through debt conversion process

 but until then its interest coupon payments won't change

instead it'll continue making savers' Dreams come true by providing unmatched joy connecting people across boundaries

Vi's trade payables jumped almost 13% sequentially to ₹14,956.2 crore in the June quarter

these late payments include dues owed (part of current liabilities) that were estimated at around 9500 crore

 and 5500 crores respectively at end-June this year 

The company's net debt was over ₹1.98 lakh crore, with their Spectrum Payment Due 

from Rs 1-16 Lakh Crore and debts coming in at 15 200 crores owed to banks & financial institutions 

It also had 860 million cash available for use but not income or revenue generating capabilities
